Day Two : Dissonance
I joke that we live in different time zones - usually he's going to bed only an hour or two before I'm getting up, but ... this is extreme. We really ARE in different time zones and he's getting up an hour or so after my body had been telling me that I should go to bed. (which is also backwards). It's now mid-afternoon (my time) and I'm waiting for him to come into the chat before going to bed - though it appears that he was right and he did go out with his co-workers.
Last night, I kept away by watching stuff onDemand. Rizzoli and Isles, Castle, Tootsie*. I was just setting up to watch Doctor Who - the first regular episode after Rory and Amy left - when he pinged me. Which makes me happy - I don't approve of what I've heard of this Clara person and I don't really like Matt Smith as the Doctor. However, I adore Amy and Rory and River Song. I'm looking forward to Capaldi taking over - assuming that Moffat doesn't continue to arse around with the canon.
I didn't do all that well yesterday during the new egg drop. ** shrug ** ah well, I suppose I'm just not cut out to have massive stables of Clann Uaimh (Caveborn). I'm grateful for those I have.
And something note-worthy (imho). My baby sister's youngest sent me a postcard! I had included a SAS pc in her birthday card (with money) with the request that she send it back and she did!
and btw and fwiw woo-HOO! =>
and even more woo-HOO woo-HOOOOOO! =>
* We went to see Tootsie (first released) a couple of days before our wedding. My mother-in-law thought that I was getting nervous & short-tempered about the wedding. Actually, I had infected tonsils, but that's another story. The point is that watching the movie made me feel closer to my love.
